York Open Studios is an annual community arts event which represents the best of artists and makers living or working within a ten-mile radius of the city, each year York Open Studios provides an opportunity for the public to visit artists’ studios and workshops. Artists across York open their doors and invite the public into their studios and workspaces.

The Craft Potters Association always curates a strong line up and this year is no exception with 61 exhibitors confirmed, from Cornwall to Scotland.

Venue: For the third time, York Ceramics Fair 2025 will return to the iconic York Racecourse. This bright and open venue ensures ease of access and on-site parking and has been popular with guests and exhibitors.

Recognised as the most exciting contemporary showcase of current ceramic art, with exhibitors drawn from all over the world. Based at Kensington Olympia West, CAL aims to showcase the best in contemporary studio ceramics. The main exhibition is accompanied by a full programme of additional activities, including talks, demonstrations and films.
