Join us for an exciting day full of exploring the possibilities of pattern, prints and pots!

​

Morning Session: Surface Pattern Designer Amy Stubbs will lead the morning session. Learn how to observe your surroundings, focusing your attention to detail to create your own, unique, shapes and patterns. Amy will then show you various techniques such as monoprinting, collage and lino printing, building these shapes and patterns up into your own repeat print.

Lunch: A homemade lunch will be provided.

Afternoon Session: Ceramicist Emily Stubbs will lead the afternoon session. Emily will take you through various handbuilding and decorating techniques in clay, enabling you to build your own vessel. Drawing from the skills learnt in the morning session Emily will direct you through translating your pattern and print into glazing techniques to decorate your finished pot.

All materials and tools will be provided, as well as refreshments and a homemade lunch. So all you need to bring is yourself and an apron! Perfect for beginners and those wanting to learn a new skill.
